A LONG-AWAITED RETURN
Danny & the Veetos have left a lasting mark on the Faroese music scene, known for their indie-pop melodies, folk influences, and heartfelt storytelling. With soaring harmonies and anthemic choruses, they’ve built a dedicated fanbase both at home and internationally, earning millions of streams across all platforms, making a strong impact in the Nordic music world.
Their defining single, "Alright," won Song of the Year at the Faroese Music Awards in 2017, becoming a fan favorite and a key track in their discography. Over the years, their music has come to represent something special—a sound deeply rooted in the Faroese experience yet universally resonant, evoking the nostalgia of long summer nights on the islands.
After reaching a high point in their career, the band took a step back. Then, in early 2024, "Alright" unexpectedly resurfaced, becoming the unofficial anthem of the Faroese national handball team as they made history at the European Championship. With the team's success drawing international attention, so did the song—sparking a wave of renewed excitement around Danny & the Veetos.
Now, after time away to reflect and create, the band is stepping back into the spotlight with new music and a fresh perspective. Their upcoming EP, led by the comeback single "Home Is Where You Are" (out April 11, 2025), blends their signature warmth and energy with a newfound depth.
This summer, Danny & the Veetos will return to the stage, bringing their music back to those who have supported them from the beginning—turning nostalgia into something new.
